Personal Development Solutions

Time Management and Delegation (One day).

As work environments grow more competitive, hectic and demanding, recently appointed managers often experience difficulty in managing their own time - and that of others.  In taking responsibility for the performance of their team, managers must learn to distinguish between what they must do themselves, and what they should delegate to others.  The course is designed to improve performance through learning to focus the delegate and their colleagues on what is most important, without forfeiting tasks and projects of lesser priority.  Delegates will learn to plan and implement their own time management strategy, and to delegate work responsibly and productively, enhancing the quality and efficiency of their team's output.

What the training covers:

  • What's "important" and what's "urgent"?
  • Your individual 'Perfect Working Day' plan.
  • Setting practical 'targets'.
  • Contingency planning and prioritising.
  • Shifting priorities, urgent work and dealing with interruption.
  • Delegating tasks and responsibilities, assertiveness and communication.
  • Investing time for long-term saving.

Designed to meet the needs of: New and intermediate managers and team leaders.

All our courses and workshops use whole brain learning techniques that produce a relaxed informal atmosphere where delegates learn better and faster. This involves the use of music, games, toys and visual challenges which promote course messages.
